About Our Babies (please read this before contacting us):
Our puppies range in price depending on size, sex, or color. They are registered CKC (most parents are AKC, CKC and APRI).  All puppies sold are sold as pet quality. We raise Pekingese puppies for companionship that will give lots of laughs and love for many years.
They are dewormed, and will be up to date with their shots. All puppies will come with their own baby book, health records, registration papers and very spoiled. They are well socialized in our home with both children and other dogs. All puppies are to be picked up from our home, we are sorry but we do not ship our babies.
If you see a puppy on our site you would like to buy we require a $100.00 non refundable deposit to hold the puppy. We place a puppy as SALE PENDING for 7 days for a deposit to get to us. If a deposit is not received in 7 days the puppy will be re listed! Puppies must be paid for in full at the time of pick up. Puppies maybe picked up starting at 6 weeks of age (unless we feel a puppy needs to stay longer) and must be picked up no later than 10 weeks of age. Buyers who do not pick up their puppies by arranged date will be subject to boarding fees. Cost of boarding fee's will be base one what local vets would charge for boarding. We do not mean to sound harsh about time frames but we have had to establish this after a baby was bought then never picked up after 4 months. This is not fair to the poor babies who would like to go to their new homes.  Balance to be paid in cash on any final payments. We will not accept a check when you pick up the puppy. By placing a deposit on a puppy you are entering into a Contract to Purchase and agree to the above terms and conditions.

Please note: We will post photo's of puppies once they reach 2 to 2 1/2 weeks of age. By this time their eyes are open and it is easier to see just how cute they are. When emailing about a puppy please refer to the puppies name used with the photo.
Thank you,

PS) We do not ship our puppies. Puppies you may see who are going to other states are being picked up by their new loved ones!

Are you looking for a prefect Valentine's Day gift for a loved one? Why not give them something that is going to love them back for years to come? We have 4 super sweet babies left looking for great homes. They have hit a fun age where they are ready to play and love someone all day long. We have watched these 4 babies really bloom out to be some very pretty looking puppies just like their daddy. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
Thank you,

Autumn and Charm:
Born Dec. 1, 2009
Our Daughter Jessica named all these babies after the cast from the movie "Happy Feet".

Miss Viola: Fawn female (she will get lighter with age just as her daddy did) smallest of one in this litter. Is just a simple love bug who wants nothing more than a toy to play with and a lap to sleep in. She is super sweet and playful and would make a wonderful addition to any home. And just look at that flat face, how could you not love that!
Her price is $350.00

_

Nester: This boy started out looking very Fawn in color but now we are seeing a red tint come into his coat. What color he will be we can not guess but with a personalty like his color does not matter. This boy love to play and would be wonderful with a family who had some kids for him entertain. He does have a very loving side as well and begs for me to hold him every morning.
His price is $350.00

Ramon: Small fawn with white markings, male. This boy is a dead ringer for his daddy at this age. And very much like his daddy he is a lover. You pick this little guy up and he goes limp in your arms (after he is done kissing your face :-) He has a great coat (reaching the age right now where he is shedding out his puppy coat) and a great flat face. I can see that nose wrinkle starting to slowly show up the way his daddy's did.
His price is $350.00

Kassey and Charm:
Born December 3, 2009

Snookums: Small fawn female. Sweet as can be and loves to cuddle but is also content in doing her own things. Loves chewing on our toes when she cant find anything else to do. N
ote that will not let her leave for her new home for a few more weeks, we feel she needs to grow a little more before she will be ready to leave.
Her price is $400.00
SOLD TO SHERRY OF WARREN, TX!

Tiny Tot: Very light fawn female. We think her name and these photos says it all for her. Very, very small and a very flat little face. Just full of love and a little cuddle bug. Just looks darling, due to her small size, keeping up with the others while they are all playing. Loves giving kisses and sleeping on someone shoulder.
Her price is $400.00

                                 LETTERS ABOUT OUR BABIES
We get alot of updates and letter about how please people are with our babies. There are too many to post but here are just a few.

Hey Mindy,
I had to e-mail you and tell you what happened this morning.  I was getting ready to take my 2-year-old son and leave for the grocery store.  I'd stopped in the kitchen to talk to my husband about something, and was in there for a minute or two.  All of a sudden, I heard Hero start barking, but not a playful bar, more like a 'get your attention' bark.  So I looked around the corner to see that my 2-year-old had unlocked the dead bolt, opened the door, and was nowhere in sight.  Hero was running in circles on the porch, jumping and barking.  Most pekes, from my experience, will jump at the chance to run out an open door and explore, but he was fixed on getting my attention.  I ran through the door, and Zach was on his way up the driveway, away from the house.  Hero stayed on the porch, running around and looking very upset, until I brought Zach back inside the house, then he stopped and calmed right down.  I couldn't believe it!  Who knows how far Zach may have gotten before I saw him, if it hadn't been for Hero alerting me that something was wrong.  See, we are constantly on him about not opening and closing doors and cabinets, so Hero has seen me scold Zach many times for trying to open the door without us.  What a hero!!  I was so proud of him.  He got lots of praises and scratches, and I bought him a special treat at the store this morning.  I knew there was a reason we decided not to change his name!
I thought you'd like to know about that.  I hope you had a good New Year!
Daniele

Hi Mindy,
I just finished bathing Ryder I
am exhausted!
I wanted to write to let you know how pleased we are with him. He is such a
delightful part of our family. He meets the breed standard in so many ways especially in stubborness. He thinks he is an outsides dog, and getting him in is a challenge. We are in the process of breaking him from waiting to hear the wordtreat.( He might have more staying power than we do. ) I will send you a picture; one of my daughters has my camera. He is still cream and has a beautiful thick coat. There is a direct correlation between his eyes and his tail when they are open, his tail wags. He has a happy disposition and thinks that the whole world comesbjust to see him. He is an interior decorator; he has two beds (one in the living room for toys and one in the bedroom), and he moves them all over the house, depending on where he wants to be. He also moves socks, shoes, toys, etc. As you can tell, we adore him!!!!!!! I have recommended you to several people; that was  the best money I have ever spent he is worth that and more. By the way, I hope your back is better. God is good in every way, so I know He has you
securely in His hands.
Sincerely
,
Maureen Street

Subject: Howdy!!!!
Hi Mindy,
How have you been?  Well let me begin by saying that if any of your other litters or dogs is anything like Mona (we changed it from Sasha, Leo and Mona, get it?) than you have a handful!!!!  Lol
At first Leo was a little hurt that we brought another lil one into the house, but by the 2nd week he was over that.  He has really grown to love the little rascal.
And by the way she is total 180 degrees opposite of him. She is very very very Type A, but in a good way of course.  We actually gave her, her 1st hair cut, so she wont be too hot this summer.
She is very spunky, loving, and quite the feisty one at times. WE LOVE HER!  Oh yeah and I think Leo wants us to say the same for him.  We really want to thank you again and hope that if we ever do decide to grow our family by 1 more we will definitely give you a call!  I will send you some pics once I remember to bring them to the office!
Thanks a lot
Gil, Eve, Mona, and especially Leo (woof)   = )

Dear Mindy,
I want to thank you for letting me take care of Stacie's Peke that had been in your care since Stacie's death. My husband picked her up and came home raving about your beautiful dogs and how you let them have the run of the place. Not like most who keep their dogs penned up all the time and just use them for breeding. As for the Peke that he brought home........WOW! Well adjusted, really healthy and her coat is just gorgeous. I know that you've helped other people sell their puppies and/or dogs on occasion (like in the death of our dear friend Stacie) and I know that you take risks in doing so. I also know that you minimize those risks and take extra precautions with all the dogs. Upon your suggestion, I used your vet about a month ago. He did nothing but rave about the quality of your dogs. Anyone would be proud to say that they had a Pekingese from Mindy at Seminole Ranch!

I purchased a puppy from Seminole Ranch and I just couldn't be happier with him. My first contact with Mindy Sims (owner of Seminole Ranch) was when my husband and I visited her home to pick out our puppy from one of two new litters in October of 2006. All of her PETS (meaning all but the new babies who are in their own nursery room) had free run of her home ( NO kennels here). I was immediately impressed that although she was out in a country setting, there was not one flea to be found amongst all the dogs - and no evidence that there might have been any ever !!!!! We went to pick up our pup in November when he was 8 weeks old. Again, I found a beautifully well-kept home where all the dogs were free to play and sleep wherever. Quite honesty, I have NEVER seen 8 grown dogs and pups that got along so well together. I can only think that it must be due to the love and care that they are all given. Each dog had quite a unique personality, and they obviously had a special place in their owner's heart. We took our dog, Mango, to our vet the first week we had him. We received an absolutely glowing report as to his condition. The vet also remarked that he wished that all the pure-bred pups he saw from other breeders were in such great shape. Mango is now 6 months old. He remains as happy and healthy as the day we brought him home. We have had Pekingese dogs in the past, but none ever had as good a disposition as Mango does (though I loved them all). I would highly recommend Seminole Ranch puppies to anyone who is looking for a wonderfully cared-for and well-nutured animal to add to their family. My search for a great Peke would end here.........I personally think you won't find any better. Please feel free to call me if you'd like any further information. I'd be more than happy to provide you with my vet's name and phone number if you'd also like to speak with him.

Future Puppy Buyers:
As a breeder myself, I have know Mrs. Sims for several years and can say she is very upmost dedicated caring breeder. We have spoken and met on many occasions, traded opinions, asked advice, and used each other for emotional support during this time. She certainly has done her research on this breed and continues to keep updated. She truly cares about all her Pekingese, both young and old. I have witnessed first hand, the love and care she has for them, they are always her pets first. She will sit up all night waiting on a litter, assisting the new mother's, helping with the puppies, & if some unforeseen problem may arise, will be up all night long trying to help and make everything thing in her power to make the situation a good one. To me, you can not find a better breeder than this. She has some of the most spoiled rotten dogs, and beautiful healthy puppies. I would most certainly recommend her, and promise you that you will not be disappointed.

Dear Mindy, Mike and Jessica,
I just want to tell you how much I love my "Seminole Ranch" puppies. My two, Goose and Wilbur are beautiful with exceptional, though different, temperaments. Goose is the lover and I attribute that to the personal attention he received from Jessica. Wilbur is also a sweetie, everyone comments on how pretty he is and he loves everyone. But I think the biggest success has been Killer, the puppy I bought from you for my sister Jacki. They absolutely love him and, of course, is very smart. Jacki says that every time they take him to the vet for routine visits the vet always comments on what a sound dog he is and how unusual his brindle coloring is. This man has been my family's vet for many years and has taken care of all the family dogs so I think that is quite a compliment. And need I mention my friend Janet, who has two of your puppies, one of which is a full brother to Wilbur. Hopefully soon I can send you a new picture of Wilbur. . I am always telling people where they came from so don't be surprised if you hear from some of my friends.

I wanted to drop you a short note to tell you how much I love my babies that I have gotten from you. I have always had Llaso apsos and was never interested in pekes. When my friend Ruth and I visited your home and saw first hand the type of breeder you are, we were very impressed. You treat your dogs like they are members of your family and not just a profession to make money. I appreciate the fact that you breed pekes because you love them all as if they will always be yours. As you know my first peke was Allie, and she is a wonderful and healthy little girl. She is so so sweet. She is treated very well (spoiled is the real word) in my home because we treat her like she is part of our family and should be treated as such. Now I have Izzie who is the sweetest little thing. Don't get me wrong she won't let Allie run all over her just because Allie is bigger, she really takes up for herself. I love the way you socialize the puppies before they leave your home; I think that is a very important factor when they leave their nest (yours) and go to a new home. It really helps them not to be shy and introverted. I think my limit of puppies is two but if I should decide to get another baby it will definitely be from you (even though Ruth and I get lost every time we come to your house)!

Mindy:
Just wanted to drop you a note and let you know how much fun we are having with Killer.  I have never had a dog with such a personality in my life.  He is never still and yet when hedecides to sleep, he just drops and it looks like a multi-colored dust mop laying on the floor.  He has learned to play hide-and-seek with my husband Jim.  I dont know who gets a bigger kick out of it.  He has been neutered now, so we have a happier household.  I am trying to take a photo that will really show you his coloring now that he is getting larger.  The brindle really is obvious.  When Ruth was here she could not believe the coloring or his outgoing personality.  Compared to Killer, hers are so docile.  Not my baby, he loves to play and figures anyone who comes through the door is his.

Thanks for the wonderful baby that even my vet wants to take over.

I have bought two beautiful, healthy puppies from this couple. I have also had the opportunity to visit their home and see all of the dogs that they own. They are all cared for with much love. I have seen litters of new puppies and how they also have been cared for. This couple has a great love for this breed and all of the dogs are treated like family. I have had no problems with my puppies except that they are very spoiled. I would highly recommend Mindy to anyone who wants the joy of owning one of these little ones. If you have any questions please feel free to email me at bev.mike@suddenlink.net and I will be happy to answer them. On a health note they have a wonderful vet which I contacted before I ever met Mindy and there was only praise from the vet about how well these dogs were cared for.
Thanks,
Bev Cordier
